2002CALIFORNIA STATE FAIR WINE COMPETITION

The first California State Fair was established in 1854 to enhance the State's reputation in agriculture and recognize California's commercially important vintners and grape growers. In 2000 a panel of 48 judges sampled 2,075 wines from 388 of California's finest wineries, and the event only grows more with each passing year.

GRAND HARVEST AWARDS

The Grand Harvest Awards is a unique wine judging that spotlights American viticultural regions by identifying the most outstanding wines from these areas. The 2005 event judged over 1,300 entries from both the United States and Canada, and a few from overseas.

PACIFIC RIM INTERNATIONAL WINE COMPETITION

As one of the largest and most respected wine competitions in the west, the Pacific Rim International Wine Competition receives entries from throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Australia, and New Zealand. The Pacific Rim International Wine Competition has grown from approximately 100 entries in 1985 to over 2200 entries in 2005.
